1st Ballygowan Boys' Brigade meets every Friday night between September and Easter and offers a great opportunity for boys of all ages to end their week with some recreation and fellowship. Our programme includes; Bible Class; drill; PE and sports; arts and crafts; Duke of Edinburgh and much ,much more!

Why not join us? Just pop into the Church Halls on a Friday night or get in contact with one of our committee. New members and volunteers are always welcome!

GB meet on Wednesday nights/Saturday mornings, providing a wide variety of activities for girls aged from pre-school to 18 including Bible Class, crafts, sports, competitions, cookery, Queens Award & the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.

Ballygowan Presbyterian Church Parent & Toddlers group meets in the Church Halls on Friday mornings during school term time from 10am to 12 noon. We welcome all children aged 0 – 4 and their parents, grandparents and carers.  The cost is £1 per family group and includes all activities and snacks.

Activities:

Ride-on Tractors, Cozy Coupes and Buggies

Swings and Slides

Play mats and small toys for babies

Painting, Play-Doh, Colouring, Jigsaws and Role-play

Reading corner

Take home Toddler craft e.g. Calendars, decorated buns, Mother’s day cards

Snack time @ 10.40 with an array of toast, cheese, fruit and biscuits for everyone

Youth Club meets on the first, third and ffith Saturday of every month in the church halls for young people in 1st - 6th form an costs £1 per week.

Each week we have a wide range of activities and sports on offer as well as space to chill out and a tuck shop.

Children's Church is a more relaxed version of Sunday school and meets on Sundays during the main service for children 4-11. Children attend the service and leave for Children's Church after the Children's address.

Each week they enjoyed a range of activities including art & Craft, Games and even the odd movie and popcorn morning all based on a Biblical theme.

Girls group is for girls in Year 8-14.

Each session varies as we explore what it means to be a Christian, how we can develop our relationship with God, learn how to live a life for Christ and tackle some obstacles and issues we may face as young women in today’s world. If you fall into this category, you are all welcome and we would love to see you there for some amazing snacks, banter and fellowship!

Girls' Group meets  alternate Mondays from 7:30pm - 9pm.

Our Sunday School and Bible Classes are open to all children from Pre-school age to youths of 18. We meet on a Sunday morning in the Church Halls from 10.15am until 11.15am and all are welcome, no matter the age, or ability. We are an all inclusive group open to all.

Our dedicated, loyal and enthusiastic band of teachers want to share the love of the Lord Jesus Christ with all our children so that in God's timing they will know Him as their personal Saviour and friend.

The children are taught through song, Bible stories, prayer, memory verses, drama and quizzes. We also enjoy guest speakers especially with our older age groups.

We have strong links with the other youth organisations in the Church with many of our children, and indeed teachers, attending or helping at these also.

Above all we want the children and youth in our community to know that no matter who they are, where they're from, what their ability they are loved. They are loved by a living God and nothing will ever change that.

Youth Fellowship is for young people in Year 8 - 14 and meets on  alternate Sunday evenings from 6:45-8:45pm.

Each week we explore Life Issues, study the Bible and support and encourage each other in our journey with Jesus. Each week is a lively mix of Bible Teaching, Games, Small Group study and conversation.

Creche meets on a Sunday morning during our service for Under 4's. Children can be left off at creche before the service begins and collected after worship. We have a wide range of toys and games to keep them entertained and this is a great way to get them prepared for moving to Sunday school and Children's Church.

Junior Youth Club runs on the first Saturday for those in P4-P7 and entry costs £1, spaces must be booked online before attending. Each month we will have a range of activities including football, rounders, board games, games consles, baking and art and craft. Junior Youth Club will have something for everyone to enjoy!

Whether you want to get involved in the sporting action, chill with your friends or raid the tuck shop, we'd love to see you there!

Our Young Men's Group is for those in 1st to 6th form and meets in the Youth Room every other Monday.

Each week we meet together to explore issues that matter to us, supporting and encouraging each other to develop in our faith and become the young men God wants us to be and there is always food available.
